My question to Liz Berry on 28th April book chat event would be when and how she decided to become a poet? Has she always wanted it or did she try other jobs as well?

Thank you.

So pleased for you when I heard your news. Looking forward to reading it some day! And thank you for recommending me!

My job means that I need a room to see clients in, which also has my desk in, and I am so happy to have my own space that I can disappear into and close the door on the rest of the world.

Just took a photo of my own beat up office chair that I was going to share, but I see I can't attach images to comments. The fabric is strapped together with duct tape, which is now peeling off, and new rips and tears have appeared in other places.

Delighted to find you here as I gradually shift from Twitter to Substack. The “room of one’s own” is interesting. For years I longed for my own little art studio, and when I finally got it I just froze and couldn’t paint a thing. Has anyone else had this experience?

That's interesting. I wonder how much of that is just change of environment/routine and how much of that is linked to imposter syndrome?
