A Change of Plan
New date for the lunch time Write-Along
Hello Readers
On Thursday I lined up my paid subscriber dates for winter, ready to work with you this coming Thursday (12th) on our lunch time write-along. Unfortunately I need to change the date and this post is to let you know that the new date will be this Wednesday 11th December.
I hate changing things I’ve already planned, but right now I once again find myself holding the hand of someone close, this time my mum, as we navigate a very serious cancer diagnosis. Anyone who has been in this situation will know that once something like this is diagnosed there are lots of scans and appointments thrown at you in quick succession without much notice. Of course I would rather have this sudden flurry of appointments rather than the excruciating wait for news, but it does make planning work something of a challenge. The twelfth is a consultant appointment day, a big one, and one that necessitates travelling, so I feel probably best to move the write-along to the day before, Wednesday 11th, rather than the day after when I will probably be mentally regrouping.
Thanks so much for your patience and understanding. I do hope to see you on Wednesday for a peaceful hour of communal writing with optional writing prompt.

So sorry to hear that. Of course you must change things to fit in with her needs and yours, that has to be your first priority for as long as needed.
